The renewable energy share in total final energy consumption will increase to 16.6% by 2030
- The renewable energy share in Indonesia is projected to increase from 11.25% in 2018 to 16.6% by 2030.
- The increase is due to the increase in share of renewable energy in electricity generation based on RUPTL 2019 - 2028 and the biofuel mandate of 30% biodiesel and 20% bioethanol utilization by 2025 based on Minister of Energyand Mineral Resources Regulation No.12 of 2015 in transport sector.
