Indonesia will need to invest 122 Billion USD in the power sector to achieve current policy scenario

Based on the capacity expansion in RUPTL 2019-2028 and a linear regression forecast for the remaining two years, Indonesia will need to invest 122 Billion USD in the power sector.
The investment costs in the current policy scenario are 19 Billion USD higher compared to business as usual scenario, mainly due to the increase in the share of renewable electricity generation capacity.
